Found Kaiba off of yelp! We ordered A LOT of food and drink for two: -draft beer $3.99 -house sake $2.99, a bit hard to drink -mango tango $8.99 -tokyo rose $8.99 -yellowtail carpaccio $13.99, really good -vegas roll $12.99, good, heavy on cream cheese -squid ring $12.99, not good, avoid -salmon carpaccio, do not get -tonkotsu ramen $13.99, good Jasmine was our server...and she was attentive and quick! Shoutout to her! Since the yellowtail was great...we decided the salmon carpaccio...but one bite and the sauce did not work with the fish at all. I had staff take it away...and they were attentive enough to take it off the bill which I appreciated. Overall bill was still over $100, but I had a great experience with food and drink (minus the negatives). Street parking...but I believe they might have some parking in the back. It definitely will get busy during peak hours!
I have passed by this place so many times. And now I have finally stopped in and given it a try. Even though I didn't have a sit-down meal but a take-out. The atmosphere of the place is small and intimate, and it can get busy. The wait staff were really nice and welcoming. Their prices were very reasonable and I do love their sushi . I highly recommend this place to any sushi lovers and first-timers to sushi. And just an FYI, this place also has cooked proteins too. For the non raw food eaters.
Nice place, clean, everyone was really nice, the price seens a little expensive but the large portions definitely makes up for it.
