This place is amazing! We went last weekend looking for an all you can eat sushi place open late Sunday night. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service was top-notch—our server went above and beyond, offering fantastic suggestions that turned out to be some of our favorite dishes of the night. Our absolute favorite were the dragon rolls. As if that wasn’t enough, they surprised us with two free single rolls to try, and let me tell you, they were absolutely delicious! It’s clear they genuinely care about their customers and want everyone to have a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We left not only full but also feeling appreciated as guests. This place has definitely earned a spot in our regular rotation, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
Got greeted when we came in. Our server was nice she gave us tea and water that I asked for. I wish as a new customer she would have explained the menu a lil bit. We waited for awhile for our sushi which is understandable we order 4 rolls. We had the food served and the presentation was pretty neat. The brown sauce on top looks very light, if you know real Japanese sushi place it should be a dark color but the flavor is I like cause it wasn't so sweet. Food was somehow decent. Rice tasted bland and was cooked with too much water. Too sticky almost like a mochi. I got tired of it too fast and it felt so heavy. Our server never checked on us not even once while we were eating. If you don't like being bothered while eating this is the place for you. Hot tea wasn't hot enough. Restroom is clean. There's a Korean BBQ place across the street which I'll recommend more. For $68 for a meal for two people. I expected more quality.
My teenage kiddo LOVES sushi & we were so excited to try a new place (to us!) We were quickly seated and he was excited to start the AYCE. I think he ended up going through 3 rolls & a few Nigiri. So worth the AYCE Price. What I like most about this restaurant is that if you aren't feeling like sushi, their dinner plates are AMAZING. From the soup to the fried rice, and my shrimp were booked perfectly. There's a little TV and the team was very friendly! They checked our table constantly on a busy Saturday night! We will definitely be coming back! Thank You!

Enjoyed a nice lunch here with a friend. Had always heard this was a great place and have wanted to give them a try. He is a regular who was greeted by name. My friend ordered the Pink Lady and I asked the waitress to make a suggestion. The food came out very quickly. The quantities were generous, cost was reasonable, flavors were good, and the food was fresh. Miso soup was not the best. Great place for a quick lunch with friendly faces. Will definitely be back.
I love the atmosphere here at Sakana and the service has been good. I’ve been several times with my friend and agree the window seating is just lovely. However, exactly every time we have been, the waitress who takes our order ( who I assume is the owner) always manages to NOT write the order down and sure enough we are brought items to our table that we didn’t order or brings the wrong sushi. I have tried giving them a few times before I reviewed them. I don’t think it’s a language barrier, I just wish I could go back but so far the exception has been the rule here. The rice is also pretty stiff that wraps the sushi rolls.
This restaurant was very lovely. I went in the afternoon on a week day and it was very inviting. Not a lot of people which was perfect. The menu has so many options. I stuck with a simple roll and it was great. They were able to explain what was in each dish which was nice and the meal came out so fast. What a quick and comfortable place to stop at. Bonus points because they didn’t mind supplying forks instead of chop stick.

We found this place to dine at while passing through Boise. It has a really nice atmosphere and is well decorated. They were very busy, so the wait for food took awhile. The service was decent though! I had the double shrimp roll. The tempura shrimp was crispy and the ebi (cooked shrimp) was fresh. It was good! My husband had the tuna poke bowl which was really fresh and well seasoned. He chose to include both mangoes and avocado, and it was the right choice. It also came with rice, miso soup, and seaweed salad. Overall a recommended place to get sushi and poke bowls or just dinner! They seem to allow pick up or “drive through” orders as well where someone will come out to your car to get the order and pass you the order.
I have eaten here for a few years regularly now, the quality has always been consistent and I’m still finding new things I like on the menu. Prices are very reasonable. Really good ramen. The staff are All friendly and welcoming. They recently added more room as they’ve gained popularity. These people deserve their success ✨
A quiet, comfortable little place! There were a few people already there when my friend and I arrived, but we were seated immediately and received just as much attention and care as the other customers. Ever employee we interacted with was above and beyond, incredibly understanding and patient, and just overall friendly! They complimented my friends earrings and would laugh with us at our jokes - not only did they do their job extremely well, but we also felt so welcomed. The food was sooooo delicious - we ordered multiple different kinds of items and none of them were disappointing at all! The pictures I've included are from after we had been eating for a while, I just forgot to take them right away haha! Very reasonably priced, wonderful food, wonderful people, wonderful atmosphere, wonderful time!!

It was pretty good...the ramen eggs are not a color we were used to, kind of grey and so was the yolk, made it unappetizing. I also prefer the pork belly to not be chopped into tiny pieces, never really had it that way. The calamari was …

Very good sashimi. The charashi was great! Try the spicy poke! It's amazing! Also, try the tempura cheesecake for desert! So good! Our server was very friendly and made sure our drinks were full. Overall, it was a great experience.
This place was excellent literally a hidden gem in the area. We drove about 2 hours for a weekend getaway and needed a date night on the fly and they were great, I called around 9 because another place fell through and they got us in and seated for Hibachi an hour before close. The waitress was excellent, so sweet and gave us great recommendations as far as the menu goes. The chef was great and HILARIOUS and our food was cooked perfectly. We love this place and are so greatful they served us despite how inconvenient I am sure it was. We will be back and we will be telling our friends!
This place gets busy!! I'm so glad I showed up 15 minutes before it opened. The line was huge by the time they opened the doors. My party of 6 was sat right away but the group behind us was a 30 minute wait. I knew the food was going to be good! Our server was quick and attentive. The chef had some tricks we've never witnessed before and we've been to quite a few hibachi style restaurants in our time. He made an angel with flame wings out of onions and and egg! Our food was delicious, fresh, and the portion sizes are plenty! I recommend the filet mignon, shrimp, scallops, fried rice, and hot sake!

Had a phenomenal experience. The food was fantastic and our server was great. Shout out Sabrina! 10/10 recommend to friends and family. Favorite rolls were Anger Management and the Rainbow Roll. Gyoza was fantastic as well!
My baby is a ticking time bomb My wife and I came here for all you can eat sushi, and we managed to scarf it all down before he blew up. Before that, a group of like 20 bros came in. The nice waitress asked, "Is there anything you guys want to drink?" and they enthusiastically said, "alcohol". nice. overall, it was a good experience
This place is great. Excellent quality food in a nice atmosphere. Best value for AYCE sushi I've found in Idaho. 100% wild recommend. Had a City of Trees, a Diablo, and a Twister. All excellent. Shrimp tempura and fried crab appetizers were money also. I live 4 hours away, but we will definitely be back next time we are in town.

We stopped in as we had some time to spare before a movie and ordered a couple of appetizers and drinks. We tried the tataki and pork chirashi. Oh man!! I was very pleasantly surprised and blown away. The tataki (yellowfin tuna sashimi) was very fresh and high-quality. The pork chirashi was pure Asian comfort food, with a flavorful and fatty pork belly, perfectly cooked rice and a savory glaze. It immediately brought me back to childhood, reminding me of dishes we had at home. For drinks, we tried the wasabi martini and raz highball. Both were very different. I enjoyed the wasabi martini but was hoping for a little more salt/brine. The raz highball was sweet due to Chambord but balanced and lightened up with the yuzu and soda. I wish I wasn't already full from having had dinner, as there were so many options on the menu I was wanting to try. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!
Since hearing about this restaurant, I've been eagerly awaiting an opportunity to go. And man, it absolutely crushed my expectations. Every dish was simply amazing! We started off with some miso and hot honey gyoza, which I highly recommend. So, so, good ! The surprising standout was one of the veggie rolls (reefer) ?! My wife loves sushi and was very impressed with that roll, and we'd both order it again. I can't wait to go back to try some of the other items! I had gotten the 12 hour bone broth ramen with level 2 heat, which was perfection . The pickled peppers added a nice surprise in the bites . And we cannot say enough about that Japanese (fluffy) cheesecake with the yuzu sauce!!! I can't wait to go back to try that. That is a toss up for my favorite dessert in the area - comparing it to Wepa's guava infused mousse. They both slap, but feel like this one night edge 'em out. This is definitely in the rotation. Be different, and try something new :).
Pricing is a bit expensive for one drink, but everything else is on par. Rangoon so yummy! Dragon roll, citrus roll were fresh and flavorful. Zenkai drink (photographed) black as my soul. Quite delicious!

Consistently good sushi, Both the carpaccios are always good, toro sashimi was great, bluefin baby roll was great. Scalloped roll and Kaizen are favorites. Service was quick, friendly and attentive. My server Hope was great. The lemon ginger martini is very sweet and syrup flavored, not a lot of lemon flavor.
Tried the food truck at Ann Morrison. It took 30 minutes for one roll but it was honestly worth it . The sassy sis was the best roll I've ever had. No joke. It had so many fresh flavors with the lemon and cilantro and amazing texture, without being drowned in sauce. Will be visiting the restaurant. Sorry about the pic, that's only half the roll.
I had an amazing dining experience at Sushi Shack! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely top-notch. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor—easily some of the best I’ve ever had. What made the experience even better was the exceptional service from Ashley. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations that did not disappoint. She made sure our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her kindness and professionalism truly elevated our visit. If you’re looking for fantastic sushi and outstanding service, this is the place to go. Ask for Ashley—she’s the best! I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

Kudos to the staff for keeping things moving on a Valentine's day Friday evening. Sushi was fresh and Ramen was good, although a bit salty for my taste. Seating is a bit tight, you are essentially elbow to elbow with your neighbour. Prices are reasonable. Certainly a must try.
It's within walking distance of the Pilot travel plaza. The food smells & and tastes awesome! It's the best sushi place I have found west of the Missouri river. I had the Eel. It was perfectly prepared.
This place is amazing! The sushi is always fresh and super tasty, and the rolls are so creative. The staff is really friendly, and the service is quick. It’s such a great place to hang out and enjoy some delicious sushi. Highly recommend it! They deserve five more stars!

Adam was an excellent server. He was knowledgeable, kind, and prompt. The staff is always accomodating to varied tastes & ages. Even when busy they are attentive & the portions are excellent. We have enjoyed the new specials each time. I highly recommend this restaurant. Try the fuji mountain, dynamite, or eastern dragon. We've never had a bad roll. We've been coming here for years. The facilities are always clean & well stocked. I appreciate their service over the phone also. Ordering from them is simple & they verify you're calling for the correct location.
Got spider roll as take out, had rotten tempura shrimp. All gray and mushy some parts black, smelled horrible. That's how you give people food poisoning. I had to throw the entire thing away. It's beyond foul for me that a seafood restaurant is serving rotten seafood when that's their primary type of dish. Repulsive. Health dept needs to look into this. And don't give me some excuse in your business response. I eat tempura shrimp in sushi often, this is ROTTEN and you should be ashamed.
Came in for an unexpected Valentines day lunch. The service was awesome, the food was ridiculously good for the price. The best part is that they gave out Valentines day presents (pictured), after the meal. Totally unexpected and really appreciated.

Wasabi sushi is a very stylish Japanese restaurant, the decors inside provide a great cozy and cultural vibe of the far east country. The food is also delicious and authentic according to my experience with Japanese food. The staff are friendly and the serving speed is quick. They offer various choices of sushi but limited selections of ramen which could be considered as a down point if you’re a big ramen fan like me, the appetizers are all perfect to me. Overall a five star place.
The sushi is actually pretty good (a difficult task for Idaho)! I took off a star because the service was poor. The server did not bring us menus or water for quite some time. Then our food took forever and we realized after she dropped it off that we had no utensils or napkins. She didn't come back to ask how the food was until we were totally done eating. This place could really shine if a little effort was put into their service.
This place in my top five sushi places to go and enjoy sushi. They are older school with their sushi. It is always fresh and on spot so come on down and get your grub on with some excellent sushi.

Food was delicious. We had the fish and chips and prime rib tacos. Definitely would order both of those plates again. Service was great, bathrooms were super clean. They also had a large TV and other TVs at a bar area you can watch games at. There was a fireplace in the back corner, making the room cozy. For the summertime, it looks as if they have patio seating too.
Burger and fries were delicious. Staff was friendly. Food came out quickly. Beer selection was adequate but small. Decor is average, perhaps a bit dated. Menu options are typical, with the additional sushi options this place caters to many appetites.
We normally go to Willowcreek for the sushi, which is usually good, but the atmosphere falls a little flat. The service is typically slow and the wait staff isn't very welcoming (sideways looks). Today we decided to try their sandwiches (Ruben, Club). The corned beef was tough and dry and about a third of the sandwich was missing meat. The club had a plain flavor, an odd texture (almost like biting through raw pork), and the bread was soggy. But the fries were really good. Overall, not a great experience considering we paid over 60 dollars and left feeling hungry and frustrated that we spent so much money on a meal we didn't enjoy.

I had made reservations here for a ladies night and they did amazing! They had saved a table upstairs to accommodate our group. The waitress was in training, so we had two waitresses present and they both did fantastic. The food and drinks were delicious also. Highly recommend!
Great service and great food! We went to show at the Shrine that ended around 9:30 so we slid in to eat right before close. I normally don’t do this to anyone but we had fast service and tasty sushi! Thanks! We were hungry!
12/27/2024 Third time we have eaten here and they continue to impress. The food is great and fun. They also updated their menu so it is easier to read. I will continue to bring friends and family here. Was pleasantly surprised. Their rolls are huge and were very good. Wasabi was fresh and hot. My only complaint is if you have glasses the menu is very hard to read, the type being small and red.

Dharmas is one of my favorite Sushi places! Cute place and great food! Of the handful of times I’ve visited they only messed up once. I ordered online and picked up in store. I selected No Tempura on both of the 2 Godzilla rolls I got, my husband and I don’t eat tempura. However when we got home there was tempura on both. Simple mix up, my husband and I work in food service as well and completely understand a mix up. The rest of our food was great as always!
Decent sushi spot for some quick take out. The staff were delightful and the service was quick. The thai roll was something different and I liked it. Not top flight sushi but if you're having a craving this place will definitely hit the spot. The decor and vibe of the place was nice and chill. I would come back to this restaurant if I'm in town again.
We always love Dharma for the vegan sushi rolls. Thai Peanut, Savage, and Swagger rolls are so fantastic. Easy to dine in or take home.
