Great food, excellent service! this place offers both Korean and Japanese cuisine, and every dish is amazing with fresh ingredients. I always make it a point to eat here when I’m in Bellevue, and I highly recommend it to everyone. They have a wide variety of options, perfect for any occasion or weather.
Best soft tofu kimchi stew I’ve ever had. I loved the sushi however I feel the sushi rice seemed just slightly stale or I guess. Not as moist? Wet? Just a little dry for the salmon and tuna sushi. The rolls were really good even though me and my cousin accidentally ordered practically the same rolls. That was our fault. The cheesy Tteok-bokki personally for me was a little sweeter than expected but still really good. Friend had the bulgolgi bento box and said he liked it. They served us miso soup and a salad in the beginning. The miso soup tasted good and refreshing. The salad was also good however I felt the dressing could’ve been a bit better. The staff were really sweet and very attentive. Overall I would definitely still come back again to try the other foods!
The restaurant has many kinds of food. This restaurant is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever had. The workers are all really kind. Atmosphere of this restaurant is so good. I think this place is perfect for family outings. Portion size is also massive. They are always welcoming and kind.

I was craving Sushi from sometime now. It finally ended with my friend giving a treat for his new car. Absolutely loved this spot - just so good. I haven't tasted anything like the ultimate dragon. Don't get discouraged by seeing Eel - it's absolutely a blast. Other sushi rolls we tried was Emperor's roll, Spicy Seattle and Green Decadence. Emperor's roll to me was an eclectic collection of different combinations of shrimp, crab meet, avocado etc. The atmosphere feels definitely upscale and the service is super quick. The cuisines are presentable and you are NOT leaving from here disappointed.
Came 15 minutes before last seating at 8pm on Christmas eve. The host was not welcoming, gives a little bit of attitude even though I was just asking "Are you still open?" Because I understand it's Christmas eve, but if you don't want customers just say so. Since we were hungry, we decided to come in anyway trying to forget his attitude. Luckily, our waitress was friendly and nice! Food came out quicker than we thought, which was great cos like I said we were hungry! We ordered tuna tataki, fried calamari, street fighter 2 roll, seafood udon, and sukiyaki beef. All were wonderfully seasoned! Both udon and sukiyaki broth were soothing, perfect for cold winter night. Calamari was served a lot more than I thought but it was awesome! Tuna tataki and street fighter roll were great! All in all, great experience with the food and service from the waitress. She made sure that we placed our last order before they closed off the kitchen. Also ordered a squirt but it did not taste like squirt at all, luckily they were able to get 7up that tasted like 7up. It was nice to see that the staff were taking pictures together and having fun even though they had to work on Christmas Eve. We appreciate you! We recommend coming here if you're looking for japanese food in Bellevue area. It wasn't cheap, but worth the price! Thank you friendly waitress!
After walking around the town center I decided to stop here for a small bite and a cocktail. The frequent flyer was their version of a paper plane. Quite tasty and will definitely be ordering again. The Toro sampler was quite enjoyable. The salmon Toro was surprisingly my favorite typically tuna is my go to. This was extra buttery and incredibly tender. I sat at the bar and service was fantastic. Great recommendations, and easy going. Place wasn't too crowded, hopefully it gets busier. Would like to try some of their rolls and other fusion items. They were doing a ton of to go orders! The accompanying items on the sushi plate were quite tasty. Especially the seaweed salad.

Cute little Japanese restaurant with great quality food, unbeatable price, and wonderful service (food comes out fast too). If you haven't been here before, you have to try it out. We'll definitely be back. Seating space is limited. There might be a wait time if it's busy or for a large party. We also saw lots of takeout orders during our 45mins time there.
Fantastic value for the quality of the food. The portions are generous and well worth the price! They even offer complimentary hot tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here!
We ordered chirashi bowl, special bento and a salmon roll. The chirashi is standard, fresh fish but for the price it's a good deal. The special bento was great. I like the bbq beef and chicken on skewer instead of the common teriyaki. They also serve grilled zucchini, mushrooms and onion instead of the boring salad. The sashimi was good as well. Great combination. The only complaint is the place is too small. We are lucky we got a table when we came.

The food was amazing The sushi rolls and salmon belly were freaking phenomenal Depending on the server I feel as tho a bit rushed with taking our order and didn’t feel patient. Me and my friends all knew what we wanted but the attitude with the server didn’t feel very professional. I do understand we came a little over an hour before closing but didn’t expect to be spoken to in a tone that felt harsh and rushed. Overall the food was still really amazing and will still be coming back!!
I've been coming here off and on for years. Service has gotten better but the food hasn't. I ordered the Spicy Tuna Don recently and to my surprise it was mashed up raw tuna. Something I'd expect to find in a can for my cat. It was not appetizing nor good.
Went there when it opened. Service was very good. Food came out fast. Big portions. I ordered more than I can eat provided nice take home containers your choice of two items for the Bento box. Located in a shopping area. Plenty of parking a nice nice place for a nice meal. Can seat large parties.

I wanted sushi and I got so much more! It was fun to eat in an automated sushi bar. I really didn’t need to talk with a human! The sushi and soups were very good and the people I did talk with were great. Lots of selection and fast service since it is always rolling by you
We visited Kura Revolving Sushi Bar in Bellevue, WA, and had a great time. From the moment we walked in, the experience was seamless—no wait, instant seating, and a clean (mostly) dining area. The restaurant has a Good food safety rating. The sushi selection was impressive, with a non-stop conveyor belt full of fresh options. If something specific caught our eye, we could order it directly from the menu (a touch pad at your table), and it would zoom to our table via a separate top-level conveyor belt. The automation didn’t stop there—our water and wasabi were delivered by a robot that played music as it navigated through the restaurant. We barely interacted with human waitstaff, only seeing them twice—to bring our Japanese beers and refill water. Everything else was handled by the automated system, including the plate return slot at our table, which counted each finished plate. We ended up with 25 plates—eating like kings for about $120 total (about $3.95 per plate). A fun touch: for every 15 plates, a small prize ball dropped at our table, and we scored some sushi Legos. It’s little details like this that make Kura not just a meal, but an experience. Overall, the food was pretty good, and the interactive, tech-driven setup made dinner really entertaining. If you're looking for a sushi spot that blends decent quality with a fun, high-tech atmosphere, Kura is definitely worth a visit. Would we go back? Absolutely.
Such a great experience if it’s your first time at a revolving sushi bar! Service was outstanding and servers are always attentive to your needs . The prices ranges from how many plates you get and anything you order on the side that doesn’t come through on the conveyor belt.

Fun experience. Loved the atmosphere inside with the curtains, etc. Very good quality food, could even tell with the Wasabi, generous portions. It's off the beaten path, but IMHO it is well worth it. Incredible variety to their menu. Great value here compared to other places in Bellevue.
This is an old hidden little gem in Bellevue for Japanese food! The sweet staff are friendly and efficient and the food is fresh and delicious, with some creative roll combinations for. Tucked into a strip mall between a shipping store and Silver Platters, it's definitely worth stopping in for fresh sashimi, tasty appetizers, and great maki rolls. We enjoy coming here for birthdays and special occasions.
My wife and I eat at Sushi In Joy all the time, and it’s always an outstanding experience. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the attention to detail in every dish truly sets them apart. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always make us feel welcome. Whether it’s a casual dinner or a special occasion, Sushi In Joy never disappoints. We can’t recommend it enough!

Hidden gem with a serene view, sushi bar, and covered patio serving authentic Japanese cuisine. Fish tasted fresh and there is huge variety on the menu. We got the rainbow roll, paradise roll, and seared spicy salmon roll, which were all delicious. Will definitely be back!
I come here with my family when we want to have Japanese food with a homey kinda vibe. All the servers are incredibly friendly and I really like their atmosphere. Lighting is on point. And their food is soooo good. I really like their teriyaki chicken (dinner meal). The miso soup that comes is perfect and I really like their matcha desserts. They also have a sushi bar which serves traditional sushi. I really like this place.
This was the most delicious sushi I've ever had. On top of that, our waiter was SO prompt, professional, and courteous. The location was super neat, right on the lake (as the name suggests ). Absolutely wonderful lunch stop- I'm glad we found it!

I had the chance to visit here with my wife after longing to go for years. The high ceilings and spacious interior immediately made the experience feel both relaxing and refined. Not only is there an omakase bar, but there are also table seating options, giving diners flexibility and comfort. As someone who loves aged sushi, I was delighted that most of the pieces were prepared in that style. The fish in each bite felt incredibly tender, and the flavors were deepened by the aging process. Their house soy sauce stood out for its perfect balance of savory notes without being overly salty, allowing the natural taste of the fish to shine. The sushi rice was some of the best I’ve ever had—firm enough to hold together, yet soft and flavorful when you bite into it. From the glossy tuna cuts to the delicate white fish slices, every piece looked pristine on the wooden plate. One highlight was the crab, which was gently shredded and topped with a subtle yet rich accent. The attention to detail in the presentation and the freshness of each ingredient made the entire course feel special. I’m still a huge fan of Shiro Sushi and visit regularly, but I’ve been missing the distinctive taste I first experienced during my earliest visits. However, at Takai by Kashiba, I rediscovered the very flavors I had been searching for, which made the meal especially memorable. To top it off, my wife and I were fortunate enough to meet Chef Shiro Kashiba himself that evening. As fans who have frequented restaurants run by his disciples, it was an honor to talk with him. Hearing him emphasize “customer first” gave me a clear understanding of why his establishments consistently deliver such a warm and exceptional dining experience. Overall, Takai by Kashiba lived up to and surpassed all expectations. If you’re looking for a memorable omakase experience with impeccable aged sushi, wonderful service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is a must-visit destination.
A very well curated fresh/aged fish with other smaller dishes(tempera, chawanmushi, miso soup, etc.) in between. Highly recommend getting the uni on the side and don’t forget to eat the shiso, a very fragrant and refreshing mint (green leaf)! The rice in sushi was a perfect amount and I like how simple each dish was. There are no overpowering sauces. You must enjoy fish to come here.
- great ambiance, but sushi bar may be better - Since Takai doesn't open on Mondays, we had to celebrate my husband's bday one day ahead. I booked it one week ahead since all the sushi bar spots were taken and there were plenty of dining table reservations left. Through research, I found the entrance of the parking lot is on the 2nd street next to semicolon cafe, and the discount code to use for the parking app to get 2 hours of parking for free (hint: the code is the food that they serve, don't wanna be explicit so people won't abuse it). We were 7 minutes early and was told that we can either get drinks at the bar area or just wait for the exact time.. since we weren't drinkers, we decided to just wait. 2 minutes past our reservation time (7:45 pm), they led us to our table at the corner of the store. The little round table is rather romantic. Surprisingly, there were no other guests dining at that time. I'm guessing they only do one dining table reservation at a time and the reservations are 15 min apart. Upon sitting, we can choose either complimentary water or sparkling water. They refill the glasses throughout the meal and the water was also from a bottle instead of tap water. During our meal, we get the following: 1*. Appetizer (3 small bites of assorted dishes) 2. Minced raw tuna with seaweed (so like a handroll without rice) 3. 4 pieces of sashimi 4. 6 nigiri sushi 5. Chawanmushi (savory egg custard) 6. 3 pieces of tuna from lean to fat 7*. A piece of cooked salmon 8. 5 nigiri sushi with tamagoyaki 9 miso soup and a small hojicha ice cream from Nana's green tea. Based from the reviews, #1 and 7 can change randomly for each day. Everything was fresh with a good quality, but it wasn't as formal as other omakase places I've been to because there is no sheet of paper listing everything you will be served for the day (or maybe it's for sushi bar only). I also felt like their dishes are also more americanized and less authentic.. the cooked salmon was disappointing as I could have made something similar at home. The miso soup was also disappointing as I'd prefer a really good cup of green tea to go with the ice cream. We got sparkling champagne on the house to celebrate his birthday, but the portions were small. The sushi rice was also smaller portion, even though they did ask us if the rice portion was fine after #4. I thought it would be nicer to get the customization figured out before serving anything. I also felt one of the salmon nigiri wasn't as high quality as the rest. The service was also a bit lacking as they never refilled my ginger pieces, though my water was refilled constantly. Again, it's the small things that is lacking.. This place is nice, and the ambiance is as romantic as you can get in Bellevue that's somewhat close to canlis. However, the meal lacks some wow factors. For example, I still remember the delicious rice from Taneda or the complimentary cake from Sai sushi. Just like other people said, it's good but there is something missing. The only thing that was interesting was the tamagoyaki since the upper half has a hello texture, and the lower half have a cake texture. When I was in Japan, I enjoyed my kaiseki meals there when they turned common ingredients into something else through cooking, and it's like an art. This isn't a kaiseki restaurant, so quality is more important and I think the sourcing of ingredients or the type of ingredients they source didn't meet my expectation. The portion was also smaller than expected, even the hojicha ice cream served was like 1/2 of the ones from other omakase places.. Though to be fair, dining table experiences tend to be less fancy and you have more intimate time with your partner which I appreciate. The con unfortunately outweighs the pro so we are unlikely to visit again. I will likely explore the omakase places that I haven't been to but heard about for a while. This place is more like a 3 for me, but I'm giving it a 4 since my husband had a good time here and we talked a lot during the meal.

This is truly the best place in Seattle. I've had a lot of sushi and rolls here and there, but nowhere is it more delicious than here. It's the best, and the service is the best. You won't regret it. Please try it 진짜 와... 감동이였습니다 최고맛있어요~!
This place is great. Sushi is delicious. Can't really complain. We ordered garlic crush roll, ari, Mt Ranier, and crab tower. We also ordered shrimp tempura.
I like their fresh sheet! I love eating sashimi and sushi with different kind of fishes/seafood. Lots of time tuna/salmon/yellowtail etc don't satisfy me because they are like basics for every Japanese restaurants. So I really enjoyed that they offer Aji, Kanpachi, Suzuki, Burihira etc. Crab tower roll was great! Lots of thin fries, my son loved it. Definitely 5 star for the creative yet quality menu! Service was great, they have enough people to cover a full house so you don't feel ignored and they come to check on you. Server introduced the sake I ordered and tried to pour with label facing at me all time like a high-end restaurant pouring fancy wine. I didn't catch her name but I appreciate the details. Food was great as mentioned above. A great selection of Sake as well. Even though I haven't try everything on their menu, food I ordered was great, sushi from their fresh sheets was really good! I didn't order the couple rolls that were on fire, feels more like a gimmicky thing for me, but that's a subjective opinion, please go try and tell me I am wrong :) Wife ordered Tempura and it was done right, crispy and delicious! The only thing would be the price point of the menu is more on the expensive side, especially how I prefer nigiris, so I won't be able to come here very often. Not that the price/quality ratio is bad tho, so I will come back. Atmosphere was excellent. Although the table I was assigned was a bit sticky, not sure if it was the type of cleaner product they use or the towel was used too often on a Friday night. Overall, I would go again and support this hidden gem.

Good local sushi place that is not chained. Price per plate can be pricy but with good quality. Highly recommend to visit on a weekday, non- lunch hour to avoid crowds. They do update their menu once in a while. We got a total of 22 plates that adds up to around 65 per person.
I recently visited Sushi Me and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem in a strip mall. First off, the dedicated free parking made it easy to get in and out—no hassle, just park and go. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, which really set the tone for the evening. The modern interior and cleanliness of the restaurant was immediately noticeable, with everything looking fresh and appetizing. We had a mixed group, with some folks who weren’t big on sushi, but they found plenty of delicious options like udon, katsu, and other dishes. The fried tofu was the standout non-sushi item—definitely a must-order! For sushi lovers, this place did not disappoint. The rolls were flavorful, with the Firecracker roll being a particular favorite. The sashimi looked incredibly fresh, which was impressive for a belt sushi spot. Although it's a conveyor belt sushi spot, you can order just like at a typical sushi restaurant, which adds a lot of flexibility. Another cool thing is that they offer off-menu items if you call ahead, so there's an extra layer of customization available. We visited on a Wednesday night with a party of six, and the place was busy—always a good sign. Overall, Sushi Me exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you’re a sushi enthusiast or just looking for a great meal with diverse options, this is a spot worth visiting.
Mmm! First time trying Sushi Me and I’m glad we stopped by. The wait time at Kura was super long, so we ended up coming here where we were sat immediately. This was a conveyer belt style sushi place, so plates were just on the belt, ready to be grabbed. Options were plentiful and delicious! The fish tasted fresh and high quality. We also ordered a couple of plates through our server (who was super nice and attentive). Slightly pricy for a conveyor belt place, but because of the quality, taste, and service, I think it was worth it. Would return again!

This experience was amazing. The service was prompt and attentive without interrupting OUR conversation. The food was DELICIOUS! We had the dynamite shrimp appetizer and it was wonderful. That was followed by the sashimi platter (30 pcs) and the cherry blossom roll and Amaebi sashimi. The sashimi pieces were thick and meaty. It was all fresh, well made and tasty. We will definitely be going again.
James was amazing!! We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and the service was incredible! James definitely made us feel special. We tried the omakase and karaage and we loved everything! The portion size for the sashimi was huge! I definitely recommend the lychee kiss for cocktails!
We had an awesome dinner here, several sushi rolls and beef teriyaki were all very tasty! The beef teriyaki was good size portion and came with a salad. We also had the asahi Japanese beer which was good as well. Great service and we found parking right in front of the restaurant.

If it’s your first time doing omakase, this is the place to be. From the checking in to dining, everything was exceptional! Andrew provided the best service experience. He was knowledgeable on what to pair with what is served and made sure to check in with us throughout the course. The chefs were professional, and served us in a timely manner. Highly recommend, will be coming back soon
I was told to come and try this place and the sushi. I am not a sushi person myself and if I do eat it, it’ll be time to time. I mainly would try more cooked stuff. However, as you might see with the pictures, this is what we all got. Coming from someone who barely tries sushi, this ended up being a yummy experience. Same was for the rest of the table. I believe there was 1 person and maybe manager/owner serving and wow that seemed to be busy (not wonder if it was around dinner time) I have picked up food from there and he always greets the people with so much enthusiasm and politeness! We got beautiful roses in our table and got our dishes. With a place like this, have some patience to receive your food because if busy, it can take a bit for you to get your order. Overall, after trying the dishes I liked my Grilled Salmon that comes with rice and next time I will try the Angus Steak, from the pictures looks goooood! But as I said, the sushi, also was tasty and enjoyable. Thank you for providing a great service to the two people who made our dinner experience an excellent and delightful one.
TLDR: Decent mid-tier Japanese cuisine choice in downtown Bellevue location. Worth a try if you haven't been here before. Food: Good quality food, only thing is that some roll's portion for certain ingredients can be a bit more generous Service: The restaurant wasn't busy and the waitresses were quite attentive and stopped by several times. Why not 5-star? They seemed quite anxious to clean up our plates after we're done eating, which could seem to be rushing us out. They could've done the final cleanup after we left. Atmosphere: Nice and modern decor throughout. Space seems a bit too compact in some part of the restaurant.

My favorite place for sushi. Absolutely incredible service. The food is excellent. The thing I specifically like about the place - quite vibe of classical music.
We ordered 10 items from this restaurant tonight. My friend, who was in Bellevue, picked up the order and drove it to my house in Seattle, where she also lives. Upon opening thr bag and sorting through all of the food, we discovered that they had left out 2 Avocado Rolls. My friend called them and asked for a refund for those 2 rolls that she paid for, but which they didn't give her, and they told her they couldn't refund her. **Tl;dr: Don't eat here - if they leave food out of.your order, they will not refund you.** **Editing to respond to the restaurant's claim below that she asked for a full refund - no, she did not. I heard the whole conversation. You kept interrupting her when she tried to say "I'm asking for a refund for the 2 avocado rolls." You replied over and over that it is your policy not to give any refunds.
This was my first visit to Rolls and Rolls. It is charming, wonderful, sparklingly clean and has incredible music. Everyone dining here was having such a good time and clearly loved their food. Daniel was my server, and he was delightful, exceptionally attentive, always smiling, and a very good waiter. I had the Unagi Don, and it was amazing and fresh and a very filling meal. It came with miso soup. I will certainly be back again and again. I could not be happier to have found this place in my orbit.

The food at Ginza was pretty good. I ordered the chirashi sushi ($36) and a dish similar to bulgogi hot pot (around $16). The fish in the chirashi sushi was generally fresh, with the tuna being especially delicious. However, the mackerel had a slightly strong fishy taste. The service was friendly overall, though the attitude varied a bit depending on the server. The lady who refilled the water was particularly kind. The bulgogi was a bit salty. If you go on the weekend, there might be a wait around 6 PM. The tables are placed somewhat close together, but the restaurant has a well-equipped parking lot.
the reviews don't lie - the pumpkin fried rice is soooo good. Not a big fried rice person but I loved it and am definitely coming back for more next time. their sashimi is also good. The fish is melt-in-your-mouth soft. It is a bit pricey though (but the quality is great)
Pumpkin fried rice is my recommendation! It’s served in a warm freshly baked pumpkin. Everything here is pretty good.
