Best Restaurants Open for All You Can Eat Sushi in Baton Rouge – 2025

A very typical non-Japanese operated Japanese restaurant! The foods portion is big, foods are quite tasty! The sushi rolls and takoyaki are delicious. However, the tempura is a bit overcooked! The waitress who served us is super friendly and very attentive!

Best sushi and hibachi in town! Came in with family and everyone had so much fun, food are amazing! Will visit again! If you have not been here, do consider as most weekends require reservations!

I’m giving this place 2 stars because the food was very good but the atmosphere and my waitress was unsettling at best. When my waitress first approached me she said, “are you looking at all of our bad reviews?” I had no idea why she asked, I was literally just sending a quick text. The couple sitting behind me were giggling very loudly and were clearly on something. Then when I was finished eating the waitress said, “oh I wasn’t expecting you to eat so much!” Don’t think I’ll be back…

Appreciation for the atmosphere and for the service. We were greeted, sat and serviced quickly and respectfully. My daughter ordered the chicken katsu and I explored the tempura The tempura was a healthy portion, fried well and came out hot! My daughter's katsu was sizeable and was prepared well too. It was her first time having katsu and she was impressed We appreciated the complimentary cucumber salad as well as the pineapple at the end of our meal One downside we noticed was the sauces - tempura dipping and the katsu sauce seemed to have a smoky flavor, which we are not used to The business seems to be a fave in the community as we saw them preparing lots of to-go orders We initially came in to try the sushi but we're a Lil put off by the pricing Sushi in Baton Rouge should not run $20/roll. Im from LA and ive never spent that much on classic nor specialty rolls

WOW! My taste buds are singing praise to this establishment. The whole experience was amazing and service was exceptional. Our server Chris had a smile and brought his A game for sure. The Lobster roll had delicious fried juicy lobster and the Tempura Calamari and Edamame were perfect and traditional. If you want authenticity, and something on par with Tsunamis or Mansurs On The Boulevard but a price that makes sense then please take your time to visit this establishment and pay respect to your taste buds.

Another very delicious meal! The cucumber salad is so refreshing and the rolls were excellent! The Atlantic Salmon appetizer was fresh and delicious! We had the Samurai Roll, Thuy Vi Roll, and the King Cake Roll. Lillian made good suggestions! The service was great! This visit we ordered the Atlantic Salmon, the Thuy Vi Roll, and the Little Rice Roll. Everything was delicious. Thuy Vi Roll, cucumber salad, and the Atlantic Salmon are still my favorites. A truffle sauce is poured over the Salmon and it’s garnished with pine nuts and orange slices. It’s a unique flavor that is so delicious! Update 7/2024: I don’t know if they changed the recipe or the chef but the Atlantic Salmon Appetizer was not the same as past visits and my companion agreed. It was still delicious but it was not like past orders of this dish. It wasn’t as spectacular as it usually is. The other rolls that we ordered were very delicious.

All you can eat for 32.99 a person at dinner and DEFINITELY WORTH IT. Every bit of food was high quality. Nothing was fishy tasting like at some sushi restaurants. For me and my partner was $75 before the tip. You don’t have to get up to get your food which is a bonus to any buffet. There’s a Super adorable bathroom with marble stalls. The atmosphere definitely was great. Sushi masa is definitely in my top 3 restaurants now.

We came to eat about 8:30. Cristina's service was AMAZING. She was extremely attentive and sweet and went out of her way to make sure our experience was perfect. I also want to scream the chefs are AWESOME. They unexpectedly put together the cutest meal presentation on a freaking wagon and made our night. This is the place to go!!

This place was great! The food was absolutely delicious! We went with my sister and my husband for his birthday. The place is spotless. Bathrooms were well cleaned. We waited awhile for food. But is ok. It was busy. It had just opened. The service was very informative and nice. She got us whatever it was that we needed. Thank you. I recommend 100%. Way to go with a 5 out 5 on all!

Kelton, (our waiter) did a great job recommending the Slammin Salmon sushi roll which I thoroughly enjoyed. Great mixture of flavors. However, the Peppered Tuna Ichiban Salad was reportedly bland and could have used some extra spice on the tuna.

I have been here many times. It’s my “go to” spot for sushi. Ichiban offers good, fresh sushi for reasonable prices. To me reasonable prices are important today because most places have such high prices. I enjoy their rolls. The service is usually friendly and helpful. The hibachi tables are great too. You don’t have to sit at a hibachi table to order hibachi, but sitting at the hibachi tables ensures you get not only a good meal but also a good show! All in all Ichiban is a great place to stop in Baton Rouge for Japanese food.

Yes yes yes! Finally Best Sushi in Baton Rogue I was excited to find they opened here after being a huge fan of their location in Kenner. Absolutely did not disappoint. Walk in and immediately greeted by Mr. Johnny and rest of staff. Everyone so polite and attentive. Ordered 3 rolls, Johnny Special, Marilyn Monroe (personal favorite from their other location) and Special eel. All 3 fresh, delicious and prepared beautifully. Portion vs price are very fair and perfect. Just do yourself a favor, if your a sushi fan you won't find better or fresher. 1000% recommend and will now be my dinner spot of choice when in town.

Fantastic sushi! Chef was very nice and sincere. The sushi was incredible fresh and well prepared. Price was comparable to other places around town. They did give an auxiliary menu which appeared to have the same items as the main menu which confused me.

My girlfriend and I went there on a Saturday night. I wanted to order the stick ribs but when the sever told me that I would need to order an extra side of rice to go with it as the ribs comes with no side at all, it’s just the ribs alone I decided to go with the ramen soup. My soup came about 5 minutes before my girlfriend’s one for some reason. It had a bad smell like old dishes water than had been sitting for too long in a sink. I tried to make an effort and attempted to eat it but it was completely disgusting. We ended up asking for the check and we left without barely eating it spending 54$ with the tip. I still gave a 20% tip as the server was nice and was doing her job. Unfortunately the taste of the food was very disappointing Even the coke was highly diluted served in a skinny glass full of ice as you can see on the picture. Looks like they are giving you the minimum for the money. I ll definitely never go back again and I wouldn’t recommend that restaurant except maybe to my ex wife.

One of the best Asian food restaurants in Baton Rouge area! With great food, great environment with a very beautiful decoration! Definitely a great place to visit. They very creative with their dishes! It’s definitely a place to pay a visit! Definitely try their dumplings !

I have ordered takeout from Soji on several occasions, but I've been missing out! This was my first dine-in experience, which was so warm and inviting. I look forward to going back soon. Our server, Jilyan, was professional, very sweet, and attentive. Her service reminded me of what customer service used to look like across the board. Her level of service aligned with the work culture. Everyone was nice, appreciative, and welcoming. The food is so much better when the ambiance and service are as good as the food. Our meals were delicious, hot, and prepared in a timely manner. The portions were more than enough. I had enough to take home. Last but not least, I have to share details about the ambiance. Deep, rich, and attractive are three words I would use to describe the Soji ambiance. It's appropriate for friends, family, and dates! Give it a try; you won't be disappointed!

The shrimp teriyaki lunch set was absolutely amazing and the price was affordable. Everything on my plate was incredibly done.

We came here for the first time and we pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible and reasonably priced. This is a cute, quaint location that we will visit again. We had the Leo Roll, Hayden Roll, Maddie Roll, and the snow crab Naruto roll.

Over ten years ago, this was the place that made me fall in love with sushi. To this day, it is still the best sushi I have had in my entire life and in Louisiana. Not only is each roll delicious and beautiful, the owner is very nice and always efficient and makes sure you have everything you need. Forever one of my top favorite restaurants in my state.

By far some of the best sushi I have had! I live in Dallas now, but I always stop by Tiger Sushi. No matter what time of day you will get some of the best sushi around!

Great food, highly recommend, sushi, chicken, fried rice, crab salad

I ordered 2 options from the menu, the Udon noodles and the teriyaki steak. The noodles were cooked ok but the sauce had a strong burnt taste to it ruining the noodles and the flavor. The teriyaki steak was a little better. Side of white rice was burned and stale. Sauce was good, steak was ok but definitely not worth $17. I can’t speak on their sushi but their entrees aren’t that great.

Been here a couple of times and this last time was absolutely amazing! Went there to celebrate a birthday and the entire staff was great. The head chef, Jimmy took great care of us and provided a lot of laughs while preparing our sushi and in-between. The sushi here is the best you can get in Baton Rouge in my opinion from the Sashimi Dinner to the Love at First Bite Roll, even the miso is top tier (my favorite in BR ❤️). All the ingredients tasted fresh, the drinks were really good, and just the overall atmosphere was great. Highly recommend Umami.

Tried a new place to eat and it did not disappoint. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. The menu had many new things I hadn't had and different rolls to choose from. Also had a nice drink selection and a variety of mixed drinks to choose. Will be going back so I can try the other rolls and drinks.

Absolutely delicious and well planned Omakase. Hands down the best I have had across the states. The order and presentation matched the taste and made each set more exciting. Two of my coworkers tried Omakase here for the first time and couldn’t stop raving about it. I will be stopping by again on my next work trip.

Always a pleasure here but this time was noteworthy. I just had to start a gluten free diet due to an allergy and this was my first time at a restaurant trying to order following that. My server, whose name I have unfortunately forgotten, was extremely patient, helpful and understanding. Also props to the kitchen staff for taking extra precautions and answering all questions. Accommodations like this should never go unnoticed!

The sushi rolls were great! My Ramon was was just 6/10. This place has a nice ambience and bar vibe! There's an upstairs for private events. I haven't got the chance to see it in person yet but it could be a vibe as well. ! Would definitely go back later in the evening or at night and sit at the bar!!

Decent food. Very hip environment... Slow as snails when it comes to service. I literally would have ordered double if the service were more attentive. I'll probably give it another go at some point

This is such a great sushi place to check out on your lunch break! I used to go here every Friday and sit at the bar when i was alone and at a table with clients. Unfortunately, I relocated, but i will say that i was already treated like royalty, reasonably priced, and AMAZING sushi. You can watch the chefs prepare the sushi and you can see the care and effort they put into everything. PLEASE go show these ladies some love!

Quaint calming atmosphere with a unique presentation of sushi and its accompaniments. Cold Sake is served in a beautiful artistic carafe that is also functional and FUN! My Samurai Roll was delicious! It is the Hello Sushi version of a Rainbow Roll.

I came in because my driver was on the verge of being hangry and that is not a good look for anyone. We were promptly seated and brought a drink. We had the shrimp dumplings and the surf and turf sushi roll. All of it was perfectly delicious. Friendly employees and clean interior.

The best staff I've ever encountered across any restaurant, department store, customer service line, or anything. The people running are just incredible. Have you ever had that moment where you suddenly realize that the person you're talking to really, truly, deeply cares about not just getting your order right, but how your day is going? If not, come here. These people are just the best and it's no competition. The food is also incredible, you simply have to get the chicken katsudon, and it's just perfect. I haven't had better Japanese food anywhere in my life. I love these people, and I love their food. They are a beacon in Baton Rouge, and I'm so happy that they are here.

The ONLY place I will get hibachi!! The pork gyoza and shrimp or chicken hibachi are 10/10, and the rice is perfect! The lady that takes orders is soo sweet, and I enjoy speaking with her when I go. She always has a smile!

Airline Highways best kept secret. Absolutley adore the staff and food. They doing it right over here okayyyyyyyyy. Super good about vegetarian options as well.

Trice was an awesome waitress! She checked up on me just about every time I needed something and was super helpful in deciding what to get. Highly recommend eating here! The food is always fantastic, and no matter how intimidating some of the menu items seem, they're always absolutely delish!

The food was wonderful, definitely a great place for a date or a casual bite with friends/family. Our server gave us some recommendations and I'm glad we took his suggestions as we enjoyed all the food and drinks very much. Service was quick and price was more than I expected but the quality definitely balances that.

My husband, 14m old, and I went here for dinner. It was pretty busy, so we did have to wait a little bit for our food. But it was worth the wait. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the children’s ice cream. It tasted freezer burnt and had a weird texture. Everything else was delicious though, especially considering the price value. I recommend giving them a try!

The BEST sushi I have ever had and I've had many from as far as the US Virgin Islands. The ambience was nice overlooking the river and downtown Baton Rouge. Greatly enjoyed and hope to be back some day!
