We stopped in here after some shopping to grab some dinner. The reviews seemed promising and they did not disappoint. The fried gyoza is TOP TIER! All of our food came out fresh and tasted so good. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town!
Great service, quick and on time ready for take out. Rolls are a bit small
I go here regularly, and always have a great experience. They are always polite and inform me about the wait time because they get backed up, (for good reason). Unlike the majority of Japanese restaurants in the United States, this one is own and run by a Japanese family. I can taste little differences in the way the food is prepared and served, being part Japanese myself. I order a lot of food and tip a lot because the tip isn't about the wait service here, it is about the food prep and quality. Even so, my tips get me excellent service. Their food rivals most of the places I grew up eating at around SF Bay Area, and it is refreshing to support a family owned business dedicated to sharing their family's approach to making Japanese food. This restaurant reminds me of many of smaller sit down places I've visited in Japan, and even have appreciated watching someone come in and pickup a special order of Natto from them that they were holding out back for her. If you are visiting Northern Vermont, do yourself a favor and carve out a couple of hours to sit down and have some authentic Japanese food.
