Went to this place for a family member's birthday and had a great experience!! We did the hibachi experience and our chef was so pleasant and entertaining and the food was cooked well and so flavorful. I got the steak and shrimp hibachi meal and it felt like I got soooo much food so definitely worth the price tag. And just the price of our entire party's meal felt like not a lot for what all we ordered. Like for the somewhat large party that I went with, we would have paid more at other restaurants for not as much food but that wasn't the case here. The drinks were also GREAT! I got a blackberry mojito and they had a bunch of other mojito flavors and just an expansive drink menu overall. The environment as well was nice, quaint, and spacious. Staff were super friendly so they kept the good vibes flowing especially on a joyous day and celebration. So would definitely go there again and highly recommend!!
I had the pleasure of dining at Shinto Japanese Steakhouse. The ambiance of the restaurant was charming with a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that made for a great dining experience. The staff was attentive and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The chef was very talented, fun, and provided a good hibachi experience. When we first had their rich menu, we were a bit confused, but our server took his time and explained how ordering works when you are at the hibachi table. I had noodles, chicken fried rice, soup, and salad with mixed vegetables. For my entrées i picked shrimp and medium cooked steak. My goodness, the amount of food we received was a lot. And every bite was delicious. We also tried their dragon roll. I am not a fan of sushi, but dragon rolls were surprisingly delicious. However, the only thing I didn't like was my Pomegranate Cosmo drink. I especially ordered that one, thinking that it would be strong in flavors. But it was watered down, almost no taste. Overall, Shinto is a delightful spot for the Hibachi experience. Perfect spot for a fun date night. I highly recommend this place.
Wow! Great experience! The food was off the charts! Excellent service! Bree was our server , she was so nice, professional, and efficient. Made it very nice for us. The place was very, extremely busy. The children had a great time. Everyone raved about the food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wanted to like this neighborhood sushi restaurant. So disappointed. Miso soup was super salty. Half of my sushi was stringy and fishy. Salmon teriyaki was over cooked and dry. Though the tempura was done right. Very light. The waiter was rude and inflexible. Watch out on the preset tip amounts that are all jacked up. My bill was 93 with tax. Yet the 18 percent tip option showed 18.45. Complete ripoff. Will not be back
I'm not a sushi connoisseur by any means. However, my wife is. As a person that doesn't eat sushi, the plate that I got was mediocre at best. The noodles were definitely interesting. The sushi is being reported as good but nothing to write home about. Where this place falls off the ledge is the price that we paid at the end of the meal for what we received. Expect to be paying a very big bill for not bad sushi. I'm being told for the price that we paid for dinner, we could have gone to another sushi restaurant that would be far superior.
Best place for Sushi. Shrimp Tempura was amazing. Must try

This place is amazing. The wonderful women at the front always greets everything like a long time friend rather then the customer and always remembers what my boyfriend and i get. I just took my parents here for the first time tonight. My dad who had traveled the world and eaten sushi everyone said that this is the most authentic out of any sushi he’s had in the US. I am a long time lover of Blue Sushi, but this place beats that. It is so fresh, the service is top tier even with two workers. They greet and meet all needs with true care, compassion, and speedy. This is the #1 Sushi Place in my mind all around.
I’m pregnant and was craving sushi. We went and she came over and showed me all the different sushi I could still eat. Their Godzilla role is bite size compared to other sushi spots! How great! We will coming back or ordering take out in the future
Solid D+ at best. Tasteless sushi - I wouldn’t say the place is filthy though wouldn’t say it’s clean from the dirty front door to the tired decor. Prices are super reasonable for small, low quality, devoid of taste rolls- if this is what you’re looking for then this is your place. Soup is served with plastic spoons and the requested fork was also plastic. Definitely won’t be back and don’t recommend.
