Impressive. Sushi chefs’ attention to detail is apparent. The salmon, tuna, and yellowtail I had each enjoyed its flavor plain. Melt-in-mouth consistency and fresh, flavorful plates and friendly staff make this among the best Sushi you can enjoy local to Albany. Consistent in flavor, presentation, complex-order big-party attention-to-detail, and attentive staffing. Not inexpensive. Also not a place you can visit just once; once you try it, you’ll want to return to try the other thing you could have ordered on your first visit. Great all around, welcoming, comfortable space. Recommended. Also shown: “salmon dream”, four pieces of salmon sashimi rolled, seared on the outside, drizzled with a homemade sauce. Together with salmon roe. Cooked, raw, and roe- together- among the best flavors of salmon i’ve ever had.
