Truly amazing meal and experience. Can’t go wrong here. Just do it! The creative menu with imaginative ingredients and combinations was real treat. We will go back again!
O Ya delivers an outstanding culinary experience that is nothing short of spectacular. The 20-course omakase menu is meticulously crafted, with each dish showcasing an incredible depth of flavor and precision. The A5 Japanese Wagyu was absolutely phenomenal—melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Every course was a delight, and the meal concluded with a thoughtful selection of sweets that provided the perfect finishing touch. This is easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had—worthy of Michelin recognition. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an unforgettable sushi and omakase experience!
Best omakase ever!! We came here for my birthday. This vibe is cool, service amazing and the food very interesting. The sushi was different and very fresh. The food was tasty, beautifully presented and exceptional!

Small local Sushi joint. Relatively inexpensive given its central Boston location. Was very quiet but we enjoyed the food very much. Would definitely return
We ordered 3 teriyaki combos and a yellow tail sushi combo plate. Teriyaki was good, especially the salmon one. Sushi was good as well.
Every city, county, town I visit I must try the sushi! This place had your typical sushi choices. I just felt there were so many choices and without pictures it can be hard to choose. Some items were the same but had 2 different names because one ingredient was different.

Craving for with a place that serves super tasty, authentic and super friendly service then Avana Sushi is the place to be. I happened to be there for dinner on a gloomy Friday night but in the turn of events, it changed to a mouthwatering one. When I, a vegetarian, could try a Maki Roll that would be equivalent to a Sushi. The was crispy and fresh. This place deserves a special mention for the generous staff! Highly recommended
Such a great dining experience! The staff were so kind and made it a wonderful dining experience. The food was great and affordable. We will definitely be back soon! Definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for sushi!
Imagine going around states and coming back to this gem and see how its quality hasn’t dropped at all. I have been testing this place for the past 10 years and ecen the prices are surprisingly good, can’t recommend this enough

Everything was great from food to drinks, we did not think anything missed the mark. Sushi was very good. Food presentation was well thought out and pretty. Our waitress Erika was very attentive even after it got busy, and knowledgeable about the menu. Lively atmosphere. It is on the pricey side, but was worth it.
If you are a sushi lover, this place is a must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance envelops you with its minimalist elegance and warm lighting. The service is impeccable: the waitstaff is attentive without being intrusive and offers spot-on recommendations based on your preferences.
A spontaneous girls night in the city led us to Downtown. I opened up Google Maps and this immediately caught my attention. We secured a table for two and from the moment we walked in, the vibes were spectacular. A pleasant surprise to see the place packed on a Monday night, but we were seated almost immediately at a large table with cozy seats. I’m a big fan of electric/house music so it was nice listening to that throughout the evening . Tiktok is my modern day Google so I was able to find some delicious looking dishes recommended from foodies and they did not disappoint. With the price point, we were hoping that these three dishes would be enough for us two to share and they definitely were. The plates came out tapas style with each dish coming out a few minutes after the other. We had our whole meal in front of us almost immediately after ordering The Yuzu beef was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection. It came with side of rice, which literally melted in our mouths. The Japanese Fried Chicken was paired with a delicious sauce and it was a mouthwatering experience. We were hesitant about ordering the Sesame Noodles since it came chilled, but it paired perfectly with the other dishes and didn’t disappoint. While we did not get any cocktails, the surrounding tables did, and they looked to die for. Will definitely have to grab one on my next visit. Our server, Valentina, was attentive and kind. At the end of the night, a gentleman who I believe was the manager stopped by our table to ask how our service was and I thought that was a nice gesture. Spontaneous night lead us to discovering a delicious spot that we will definitely come back to experience many more times in the future. 10/10 highly recommended!
Blue Ribbon Sushi is a premier dining destination that brings the authentic flavors of Japan to the heart of the city. Specializing in a diverse selection of sushi and sashimi,…
The ambiance at Blue Ribbon Sushi was nice, and the service was decent, but the food and drinks didn’t live up to expectations. The sushi didn’t taste as fresh as it should for a place with this reputation, and the cocktails were disappointing—poorly balanced and not well-made. For the price, I expected much better quality.
Always delicious at Blue Ribbon Sushi. I think above all else I’m blown away by the hospitality. When you get a chance to visit, try the Ka cocktail (if you can handle slight spice in a marg), the CRISPY TUNA RICE, and the spicy crab roll - DIVINE!
Best sushi in Boston (that I’ve had). The rice was perfect. The fish was so fresh. Highly recommend! As you might expect, the quality is reflected in the prices!
Longwood Galleria is a premier shopping and entertainment destination located in the heart of Longwood, Florida. Offering an extensive selection of retail outlets, dining option…
This was a good place to grab a bite after traveling. It is a food court. There were about 8 fast food places on site many of which were not open. Some I recognized like McDonald's but most I had never heard of. Most selections were rather greasy which happens to not be my preference. There were some kids running around unattended. They didn't bother me much but I could see this could be an issue. There is also a restaurant called the Longwood. That likely has a higher quality food. As someone looking for a quick bite after long business travel I wasn't inclined to sit around and wait. My experience was late afternoon on a Sunday. It was rather dead. So too the lack of shops around on the street surprised me. I would expect more with do many companies so close. So all in all it was very convenient but the quality and selection of food was not great. It's a good place for kids so they can walk around instead of being confined. It's a good option for quick take out of the typical fried food variety, or if you don't mind the food court atmosphere one might expect in a shopping mall. I did not see any other stores. Note it is also at the level above the hotel check in. It was not obvious how one would enter from the street. I got there from the attached hotel. I would not have known it was there from the street. All in all I was glad it was there. I probably would have opted for a sandwich or bagel instead if such a shop had been located on the block, and I probably would have chosen open air dining or a place where kids were not running around playing while I was trying to prepare for a business meeting.
So many choices all in one place! I couldn’t even name them all and I am sorry if I miss any, but: McDonald’s Subway Dunkin Charley’s Philly Steaks Noodles King Bourbon Street And Dragon Bowl. Super convenient, easy to get in and out, most can be ordered online and picked up hot and fresh. If you are on the area, visiting, working, hitting a Sox game, or needing some healthcare, stop in here and skip the hospital food! Your health may depend on it! LOL! See you around The Galleria!
Food court offering various eateries. We tried Wow!!Tikka for quick bite and was surprisingly good. They have warmer at the counter with premade Samosa warm and ready for quick grab.

Super tasty Poke Burrito and pina colada smoothie. My photo doesn't do it justice. I would definitely recommend it. There's so much to choose from that you can easily have a different burrito each day for a week or two if you came here everyday. Too bad there isn't any of these near Milwaukee, WI where I live
To order there is a kiosk. Be prepared to answer questions like if you want white or brown rice, extra veggies, regular sauce or extra sauce, normal protein or extra etc. Knowing the answers to these questions in advance Will significantly make your check out faster. We ordered the spicy tuna bowl and ahi tuna with no modifications. Both were very good and filing. Ingredients felt very fresh and green! The white rice is pretty flavorless so maybe get extra sauce because there is a lot of rice at the bottom. The lilikoi lemonade is interesting. Not super sweet which some like but others not. Probably wouldn’t order again. Overall a good spot for fresh if you are tired of fried and sandwiches. Average cost was $16 per bowl. Would likely come again.
Fresh ingredients, quick service and delicious!Pokéworks at Quincy Market never disappoints!

Everything was so tasty and creatively delicious! Although sashimi, nigiri and ChowFun were the dishes I'd recommend and re-order. Uni Spoon is very tasty too but I'd prefer to save it for a special occasion! Not much else to say other than you gotta try it for yourself~
TLDR: Pricey food but worth the price. Went by myself and the server was really accommodating. Everything was so delicious. I especially like the potato gnocchi and the foie gras & tuna tartare. Also, I rate sushi restaurant by how fresh their ikura is and I'd say that Uni's ikura is fresh so the restaurant is good And I thought they'd miss on the dessert because it's a sushi restaurant, but the coconut rice pudding was sooo good. They certainly didn't miss. The food came somewhat late, but the server gave me 2 free mocktails as an apology (lol), which I appreciated a lot. Food is on the pricier side, but I think it's worth it. Erin much recommended.
Spectacular from start to finish. Service, 5-star. Wagyu cooked at table on hot rock outstanding . Great cocktails . Perfect presentation and food chef's kiss
Fuji at Ink Block is a premier dining destination that brings the vibrant flavors of Japanese cuisine to the heart of the city. Nestled within the trendy Ink Block neighborhood,…
For our final stop in Boston, we set our hearts out on a Japanese restaurant and ended up at Fuji at Ink Block. Based on the high ratings and their very attractive menu, we just knew we had to stop by. Starting off with a couple of appetizers, the Lobster Rangoon was spectacular. These little parcels were jam-packed with cream cheese and lobster. A great spin on your typical crab rangoon. We also wanted to try their Satay Chicken Lettuce Wraps. The chicken was very well marinated and incredibly tender. This would have been a great main entree. For the main course, I wanted to try as many different types as possible of fish the restaurant offered so I opted in for their Fuji Don. This included tuna, tuna toro, salmon, seared salmon toro, sea urchin, eel, seared scallop, seared sweet shrimp, and micro greens over a bed of sushi rice and arugula. Each piece of fish was at its optimum quality. This was a phenomenal dish, and I was absolutely floored with the presentation. For my final bite, I saw under their "The Finer Nigiri" there were several choices. I was told the Black Truffle Foie Gras was very popular, and my mind was made up. This came in one of the best presentations I've seen. It came encased under a glass dome with smoke. The server removed the dome, and the smoke slowly dissipated revealing the two pieces of nigiri underneath. Once again, my jaw was on the ground. At roughly $30 for these two pieces of sushi, they were stunning. Overall, I had a great experience here at Fuji at Ink Block and would highly recommend it to any traveler or Bostonian. I can't wait to return once I'm in the area again to try their other items. 10/10
From the time we sat down service was amazing. Thank you Kelly!! Never had to ask for a refill of any drinks. The food was great. The chicken was so tender and delicious without any sauce. Definitely will come back. Thank you for providing us with a great meal and service. Sorry we ate everything so fast we forgot to take pictures till the end.
Great place. The menu is incredible, everything we had was great. The staff was very attentive, good knowledge of the menu and their recommendations were spot on. Loved the drinks!
Genki Ya is a vibrant and innovative restaurant located in the heart of Boston, specializing in healthy, delicious, and authentic Japanese cuisine. Our mission is to provide a u…
Food: The sushi here is pretty good, with a wide selection. There are sushi boats available, which are great for sharing with a large group. Ambiance: This place is two stories, so there is plenty of seating. I've primarily gone here for group dinners, which is great if you work in the area and want to go out with coworkers. Service: I have not had any issues. The wait time is average.
Sushi from here never disappoints, reasonable prices and the rolls are always great. Not exactly a fancy location, but a fun outing. Service is always great, we do birthdays here and staff is always super kind and accommodating for big groups
Value for Money: The $16 lunch special is a steal! It includes 4 salmon and 4 tuna pieces, plus 5 chef-chosen pieces, along with Miso soup and a salad. If you're seeking variety without breaking the bank, this is your go-to. Freshness Factor: Here's where it gets tricky. The sushi, while not unpleasant, missed the mark on the freshness I hoped for. The rice had a day-old feel, and the accompaniments (wasabi and ginger) lacked the expected punch. The assorted chef's pieces, though a visual delight, echoed the same sentiment. Flavors & Presentation:The flavors were decent, but there's room for improvement. The fish didn't scream 'freshly caught', and the tuna and salmon, while adequate, could be more impactful with fresher ingredients and a more thoughtful presentation. Service:A high point! The staff was swift and courteous, making the dining experience quite pleasant. Final Thoughts: If you're in Boston and craving sushi, Genki Ya could be a decent choice, particularly during dinner when the kitchen is in full swing. While it wasn't a culinary revelation, the value and service make it a spot worth trying at least once. Here's to hoping for fresher sushi next time! Would I Return? Maybe, during dinner hours.
Tora Japanese Restaurant is a premier dining destination dedicated to delivering an authentic taste of Japan in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Located in the heart of the city,…
Tora was amazing!! Prices were so so reasonable for the amount of fish you get. I e have been to so many Japanese restaurants and I can guarantee their quality of fish was also good. Out of the places I’ve been in Boston as well it is definitely inexpensive for the amount of fish and the quality of food they serve.
The cuts were fresh and delightful. I can’t believe that these bowls were just $20-$30! I think it’s very reasonable given the location and the quality of the fish. They give you a whole platter with rice and miso and you are definitely left full after. Given its sushi, I think that this spot not only shows its strength in great prices, but most importantly in outstanding food. Would definitely recommend!
Tora was our first and FAVORITE meal in Boston. We walked directly from South Station for 10 minutes and waited 15 minutes for a table on a Friday night. Their kaisen don was a literal feast for the eyes, artfully arranged with glistening pieces of bright colored sashimi. While there are many good Japanese restaurants in NYC, Tora will forever have a special place in my heart. *Sake Aisuru Don $23 The presentation of this salmon don is visually pleasing. They arranged the salmon slices like a blooming rose. The fresh salmon sashimi offered a buttery flavor, while the rich marbling on the salmon belly provided a buttery mouthfeel. *Maguro Toro Don $31 Chutoro (medium fat tuna) was our preferred cut. It strikes a perfect balance between richness and tenderness. Its firm yet tender texture melted in my mouth. While the slightly torched otoro (tuna belly) boasted a higher fat content, giving an ultra-creamy texture that might be too fatty for my liking. Their lunch menu is even more worth it as all kaisen don, sushi and udon sets are priced under $20. I still found the pricing of their regular menu very reasonable, given the high quality and portion. Lowkey wished they could add an assorted salmon and tuna don as I am a fan of both. We split our salmon and tuna don, and found it even more enjoyable. *Pinku Maki $17 We ordered some maki rolls with torched salmon, crab salad, avocado and tobiko, drizzled with spicy mayo and unagi sauce. The contrasting textures and flavors complemented well with one another. Highly recommend ordering pinku maki as a side if you’re feeling hungry.
Douzo Sushi is a premier sushi restaurant dedicated to delivering an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates the artistry of Japanese cuisine. Located in the heart of th…
Food is truly mediocre. Chicken Teriyaki was dry and bland. Also the rice tasted like leftover rice. The $45 sushi plate was so mid and not worth the money. The only thing that tasted great on the plate was the tuna. However, the crispy rice was the only thing on the plate that I would say was good. The sushi rice was served cold and was too big. Would probably try elsewhere for some good sushi.
Really enjoyed this sushi please in downtown Boston! Definitely recommend to try it out. The vibe is modern and on the down low. Not very loud and no screens at all (thank you do that). Also has an option of seating at the chef’s counter to see them roll and prepare the sushi. Tried the edamame, shrimp roll, crab meat soup, and the lychee ice cream! All very good!
Visited this place 4 times in the 8 days that I was in Boston. The seafood is fresh and sweet. Staff are friendly and prompt with their services. Most importantly, this place had received the stamp of approval from my Japanese colleagues!
Oishii Boston is a premier culinary destination that specializes in delivering an exceptional dining experience through its innovative approach to traditional Japanese cuisine….
I visited Oishii with a small work group for a holiday celebration and we had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent—very attentive, made thoughtful recommendations, quick to refill water glasses, etc. and the food was delicious. I specifically enjoyed the Crispy Vegetable Dumplings, and the Shrimp Explosion and Japanese Yam Tempura Speciality Maki. We were far too full for dessert but decided to “just take a look”…and of course had to try a couple. The green tea layered cake (cannot remember the exact name) was absolutely delicious—would highly recommend! All in all a great meal. Quite expensive overall, so will make it an only-for-special-occasions restaurant, but would return (and likely order a similar slate of entrees).
Amazing omakase! We loved every bite, and the truffle was the best! Wide sake list and great service just mashed this the best choice for sushi!
One of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to and there have been quite many over the years.
