Hot pot starts at 4 PM when din sum ends. It is the only hot pot I have found in Vermont! It was delicious. The lovely lady that works there gave us some pork shumai on the house even though it was after they stopped serving! It was so nice of her. Their broth is made in house with lots of love. The chef came over to our table a few times to chit chat about it. My husband and I absolutely love hot pot, so this was very appreciated! Everyone was so kind. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Note: they don't allow young children at hot pot due since it could be dangerous. We had the wagu and the ribeye. The servings of meat where incredibly generous. Neither of us could finish all of the veggies that came with it. They packed up everything including the broth to take home! I can't say enough good things. I will definitely be back with friends! (We drove an hr and a half just to eat here, and no regrets!)
The people were friendly & the service was excellent. We ordered Spareribs, spring rolls, Scallion pancakes, bok choy, chicken feet & dessert. Everything we ate was fresh & delicious. We can’t wait to come back and try different dishes. Thank you!
Conveniently located downtown Burlington near church street, it has a selection of almost 40 items for dim sum. Friendly staff and the service was excellent. Although dim sum is not served after 4pm, our server went to check with the kitchen and we got our dim sum! That’s what service is all about, especially for a restaurant… never turn customers away once they are already there! We ordered about 8-9 items from the menu and there were all good with the exception of 2 that were average compared to the rest. We recommend the green beans and pork and the fried shrimp wonton, they are really yummy. Definitely worth the detour while in Burlington, we will be back for sure.

We like to have lunch there every time we visit Burlington from Montreal. Excellent and consistent food, innovative sushi, easy to mix & share, great attentive service, consider food allergies (all nuts) and help pick from the menu accordingly. Food is priced well for the quality. Can be busy but never had an issue getting a table quickly. Small (but great) crew so service can be a tad slow if full. Atmosphere is so-so, in a basement from Church street, but not going there for the view! Will return of course and recommend.
This place was amazing! Went here for dinner with my sister and everything was lovely. No wait when we got there and got busier as the evening went on. Small, cozy, clean restaurant. Staff were very sweet and attentive. Japanese katsu with curry was spectacular! Katsu was so thin and crispy. Was very pleasantly surprised. Hot Thai tea and fried rice were also great. Would definitely come back here!
Absolutely love this spot. Lunch specials are huge and so tasty!!! Curries and noodles are all fantastic. Love all of the dishes with lemongrass. Super accommodating of allergies, gluten free (I have celiac) and other kinds as well. Service was so attentive and warm. Definitely worth the trip!!!!

Really enjoyed visiting Pokeworks, tons of options to choose from and all of them were fresh and delicious. Really appreciated the help of Valerie, Adriana, and Nicole who helped my mother in law build the perfect bowl to her preferences( she never had poke before) Relaxed atmosphere with polite staff. Make sure to stop by while visiting Butlington!
I love Pokeworks! I will often stop here on my lunch break to pick up a poke bowl. Food is always yummy and filling! The staff is really great too! Super quick and efficient!
Liane and Adriana made this experience so easy and memorable. They were singing while making the food and made it such a fun time for my friends and I. I will definitely be back and hope to see them both again soon!!

Unexpectedly good food for a simple Japanese restaurant. Fairly generous portions and not pricey. They have a few types of beers in bottle and 2 on tap. Street parking is usually not difficult.
My girlfriend and I go to this place, and it has never failed. The Pink Lady sushi is out of this world and love it. I also tried the BBQ thing they had that was new and man did it taste soo good. They even let me bring the bone back home for my dog.
My wife and I had dinner here several days ago. We ordered several types of sushi and it was over the top good. The service was excellent and the wine pours and cocktails were generous. If you are looking for an unpretentious, good quality Asian food fix this is worth checking out.

Best meal I’ve had this year. I’ve never had such flavorful wonderful low oil fried rice. Perfection. The Takoyaki was absolutely perfect. The seaweed salad and edamame last seconds . We also had the seafood rice noodle dish and the chicken shrimp hibachi and everything was perfectly on point. The oysters were juicy and to die for and the white fish was perfect. Even the soup and salad were incredible. The soup was a creamy bone broth with lovely mushrooms and the endless tea and delicious lemon water were perfect palate cleansers. I really need everyone to go here. They need to succeed because it’s the best Japanese food in the greater Burlington area, full stop.
I have ordered doordash twice from here, the Ramen is really good and tastes authentic. Shumai and seaweed salad also really good. Love their bag and the Japanese graphics on the container and the bag, so reminiscent of Kyoto. The food is delicious, doesn't disappoint and their portions are good sized.
I had a lovely lunch (dine-in) here with my partner today. We both had udon soup and a delicious seaweed salad, and the food was great. Service was fast and polite. There is a cozy little dining area with nice decor, and it was warm and quiet. I appreciate the marked vegetarian/vegan menu items and had no problem getting a vegan option. We will definitely come again!

Best sushi I've had in Vermont! Cute location, server was very attentive. Good quality for the price. My biggest concern was the amount of unused space, I wonder if being open as a bar/lounge or even having some relaxed music performances in the back could get more people in? The location has a lot of potential if used right.
I ordered the Sushi picked by the chef, scallop roll, and a beer. The service was good considering there was one server in the restaurant at the time. I really enjoyed the scallop roll and tuna roll.
We were curious to try Sushi Maeda as we have walked past and looked in but each time we have been there seemed to be a long wait of 30+ minutes. Finally we went around 5:00 pm and were able to get a seat. We eat largely plant based and wanted to try the vegetable sushi. We ordered green tea to start which was excellent (and we have green often). We also got Daikon Dengaku which was a soft and warm almost potato like consistency with an incredible sweet and gooey miso sauce on top that was like nothing we have ever eaten before but was incredible. We also ordered three different vegetable sushis: Shitake, Kanpyo (white gourd), and Shiba Zuke Shiso (pickle mixture). I was pleasantly surprised by the individual quality of each piece of sushi. One slight critique was how small they were (felt just less an inch in diameter) and there were only 6 of each kind. I realize many probably go to get an entree which would have more food but we just wanted sushi. All in all the quality was excellent and the restaurant has a sort of upscale vibe with restrained staff. Personally I will be getting sushi from other sources going forward just because I tend to want larger portions but this is a great spot to try if you are craving great authentic Japanese style sushi.

Seth welcomed us as soon as we walked in the door. When he found out we had never been here he was sure to give recommendations and check back right away on everything. He was so attentive and just a wonderful addition to the team. What a great first experience!
Stopped in for lunch during a day trip. Food was great, we loved the Gaku Buns and ramen. Seth was attentive and friendly. We’ll be back!
This ramen spot is right on Church Street and was very convenient for us as we were visiting Burlington. They have a good assortment of ramen options, as well as rice bowls and other savory appetizers. We ordered the vegetable shoyu ramen and it was very flavorful and filling. The restaurant has a clean and minimalist vibe. The service was great.

As usual my wife said let’s try this place and was a little hesitant to try it out but I did and I’m glad I did. The food was great and the portion was large you definitely get your money’s worth. The young lady who greeted us as we walked in was very nice and courteous. We will be back to eat here again.
i’ve been getting take out from this place for years! my favorite dish is the lemongrass flat noodles. i get it with chicken and it’s jam packed with fresh vegetables. i also love the miso ginger dressing they use for the house salad. all of the sushi is a+ <3
We've been going to this sushi place for a couple years now and it's always a great experience. We always eat in, but they clearly have a huge take out business. We love the simple sushi rolls, but they have a great menu of more elaborate rolls too. Love the complimentary tea! The owner is always gracious & friendly, and clearly loves their craft! We consider this our go-to sushi spot in the Burlington area.

Made fresh daily, the chef is very friendly, and for the price the sushi is very solid! You can pay $15-$20 a roll elsewhere and the sushi may be marginally better or you can pay $7-$12 a roll here for good sushi. Just depends on the experience you’re looking for
