Best Restaurants Open for All You Can Eat Sushi in Albany – 2025

I stopped by this sushi restaurant during a work trip. The service was prompt and the sushi was delicious. Very fresh and tasty. Albany Georgia, I would take you back to the buckeye State if I could. They appeared to be very accommodating as well for their customers. If you don't like"raw" sushi rolls, they'll fry it (ruin it) for you. I'll be back for more!

Wow, I am impressed. This was way better than what I expected, and the tuna avocado salad was superb! Huge bowl of super fresh tuna in ponzu with avocado and shaved cucumber This was also so much better than the other sushi place up the street, ate there last week (while traveling on business) and was completely underwhelmed.

Always a great place to visit and the food never disappoints. I love getting to go by and while sometimes they are busy, the servers are always friendly. If you love sushi, it's a great option, especially if you like a relaxed atmosphere where you can just enjoy your meal.

Love love this restaurant! Due to COVID19 you cannot currently dine in as to protect customers and employees. My family and I enjoy the variety of hot delicious meals they serve. All of the meals we ordered actually have you super full and many times just one of the bowls have so much food that you are not able to finish it in one sitting. That is a plus when you have mouths to feed and unable to cook lunch or dinner that day.

I asked for the veggies to be put in a separate container because my husband likes them but I don't. They said they could do that but they would "have to" CHARGE ME for a side of veggies to put them in another container. Stupidest thing I've ever heard!

Food was great . Service was outstanding.

First visit and food was great and we had enough. My whole family visited and we're happy. They enjoyed the food. Four years to seventy two, seven in the party, we were enjoyable surprise. My daughter had been before and I was there was new management. All they need to do is be consistent. .

The staff did a great job. The food was hot and came out quickly. They were also gracious when we wanted a drink that we asked to be tweaked for a personal preference. Jay was our waiter and was kind and cared about getting everything right. The lobster had good taste but was a bit tough, but the staff made up for any shortfall. We will be back.

First time eating here. It was delicious & my sister's Birthday Day, they made it special for her!!!. Highly recommend this restaurant. I have sushi & it was great.

Egg roll and crab Rangoon was hard and over cooked. They didn’t even form the crab rangoons and I think they substituted half of it for chicken. The pork lo mein tasted weird.

The food is delicious and so much of it....will definitely be back to get some more....

The best sesame chicken in the city hands down, great customer service every time I go plus their not stingy condiments and napkins. Always make sure I have all I need.

I hadn’t been to Mikata in years and decided to give it another try—and I’m glad I did! From start to finish, everything was on point. The soup was flavorful, the steak melted in my mouth, and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was what you’d expect from a Japanese steakhouse—lively and fun. Our chef was entertaining, making the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was the service. While the server was quick to take our order, they didn’t bring the same energy when it came to refills. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience, which was just as good as I remembered. If you’re looking for a great hibachi experience, Mikata is definitely worth a visit!

This place has fell off completely. I came yesterday and had the chicken and shrimp entree + ginger salad & miso soup. It all tasted so funny to me. I also had a pina colada frozen daiquiri which wasn’t that good either. I was hungry so I ate it, but I didn’t finish it. I didn’t even want the rest in a togo box. The bartender was sweet.

Was my hubby and I first time. Had heard great things about this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. We both had the #8 combo which comes with soup, salad, stake, chicken, shrimp & fried rice. And sherbet for dessert. Hubby had water and I had the Makita special (non alcohol) Chef was entertaining and sociable Side note Hubby cleaned his plate ( no shocker there)however I took home to go boxes

As far as buffets go, this one wasn't bad. The restaurant seemed very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, polite and prompt. The food was fairly good, except for certain items which tasted dry from sitting out too long.

Sushi was the highlight of my visit and made the meal an outstanding value. I was pleasantly surprised to see them frequently refreshing the buffet despite only having a few guests in house while we were there. I was not overly impressed with the food on the buffet, but primarily because my favorite items weren't on the menu. (I'm a picky eater. Perhaps they have them on busier days). I was sadly unimpressed with the egg rolls and spring rolls, but the Chinese donut that I ended the meal with was perfectly crispy, soft, warm and delicious. Overall great value, excellent attentive service and fresh food.

Do not eat here they will ban you for finding BUGS in your food, I just sat down with my first plate and noticed a dead bug in my food I let our server know and she showed her manager the manager did not apologize she just looked at me walked away and came back with a receipt insisting that I pay half of the bill even though I barely ate I told her no I will not be paying a penny and she left and came back and said I don’t have to pay but I can’t come back here ever again her attitude was very rude and dismissive even though I was being very calm and polite when I had every right to be upset. So if you like eating bugs and terrible customer service I would definitely recommend :)

Get a take out! Great food. Made to order. It's was hot and tasty.

Went in wanting wings but they were all out. Got the Philly cheese steak instead and it was delicious. Hopefully chicken delivery will come in soon.

So much good to say: the seafood in white sauce was amazing, the coconut shrimp, and the General Tso’s chicken. The only negative thing I can come up with is that the mashed potatoes were soupy, not thick and fluffy. However, this IS an Asian Buffet, not the Golden Coral. I chose the sushi carefully, because there’s no description for ignorant people like me. The filleted shrimp and the fried sushi were my favorites!

Been once for lunch and once at dinner. Really enjoyed everything each time. The sushi selection was excellent and very enjoyable (15 types of rolls). Wife had the hibachi and she really enjoyed it as well. Looking forward to eating there again as soon as we can. Definitely recommend !!!

I love it all, just not use to the big Sesame Chicken pieces at all. I really enjoyed the Hibachi Grill the most. The fried chicken and hot wings were amazing. Not a fan of the soupy hibachi chicken on the hot bar though, kinda gave me mushroom vibes. The Jalapeño Chicken was the star of the show, hands down.

Food was absolutely amazing, we got 2 appetizers and I ordered duck panang. They have a good drink selection including sake cocktails. My wife was a little underwhelmed by her entree so I would say that this is more of a curry specialty restaurant. Took one star off the service cause there was only 4 tables and service was still a little slow, however our waitress was extremely kind and did bring us anything we had asked her to. My wife also ordered sushi which took until we were paying our check to come out, so definitely order that first. Overall I was extremely satisfied due to the exceptional quality of the food and kindness of staff. Also, I put $30-50 since we each got a lot of food, but they have some fairly reasonable prices if you don't go all out like we did.

Ample parking and parking spaces. Lighting is low from far away until you arrive at the entrance. The sitting area at the front is well-lit and clean. As soon as we walked in we were seated and offered glassed of water. The menus are tablets that are lit well, clear front, and vivid pictures. I ordered the chicken with veggies and substituted the white rice for noodles, an order of sprung rolls (5) which they are all cut in half and stood up on the plate. My son ordered shrimp soup along with hot tea. Two different teas were not available so we had to go with liston tea. My food was delivered first, then the spring rolls, and my son's food came about 10 minutes after mine. I waited for his food to come as to not eat in his face, and in the process my food got cold. When his soup finally showed up it was flavorful and hot. I am not sure what the delay was but it definitely ruined us sharing a meal. We will visit again because the food was good once it was brought to the table.

The unique thing here is the menu on the iPad, which for me is easy to use since there are images and descriptions for every dish. Staffs are very nice and friendly. We enjoyed the time here! Food is authentic and delicious as we are told that the chef is Thai and has good experience of cooking in high quality restaurant. Really recommend for anyone wants to try the real Thai food, or if you cannot handle its spice, there are sashimi and sushi rolls for you to choose from as well!
